Overview
The Certificate in People Management is designed for professionals in non-HR roles who are responsible for leading teams, managing people, or growing organizational capacity. Whether you are a business owner, team leader, entrepreneur, or operational manager, this program provides the foundational skills and practical knowledge needed to manage people effectively. Each course focuses on real-world application and is designed to build your confidence and competence across a variety of core HR and leadership topics. The certificate includes seven core micro-credential courses and one elective specialization that reflects your industry or organizational context. Courses are fully online and self-paced, designed for flexible completion in 10–15 hours each.

You are not expected to travel to campus, and there are no required times to be online.

Enrolment is on a course-by-course basis and there is no application required. This program is intended for adult learners who are at least 18 years of age. Course availability may vary. It is recommended you submit notification requests for each course in the program to be informed when registration opens. Joining the Email Updates list will provide you with updates on the current course offerings.
Complete seven required courses and one elective course. Request your parchment through the SCS Student Portal once all requirements are met.
Students progress through the certificate at their own pace. You can complete the certificate within a maximum of five years.
