Explore how artificial intelligence can be used to improve productivity, decision-making, collaboration, and leadership effectiveness. Using a practical, human-centred problem-solving approach, you will learn how to identify workplace challenges and opportunities, analyze workflows and processes, and determine where AI can create value. You will explore different types of AI capabilities and their potential applications in workplace settings, while developing the skills to assess opportunities, facilitate process reviews, support decision-making, and engage others in evaluating AI-enabled solutions. Through real-world examples and applied activities, you will learn how to evaluate potential solutions and recommend responsible AI-enabled improvements that enhance individual, team, and organizational performance.

Workplace Application
Complete an AI Opportunity & Improvement Review in which you identify a workplace challenge, inefficiency, workflow, or process improvement opportunity; examine the needs of the individuals or groups affected; analyze the current state; assess where AI could create value; evaluate benefits, risks, and implementation considerations; and develop a practical recommendation for improving productivity, collaboration, decision-making, or operational effectiveness. As part of the review, you will prepare a discussion framework that could be used to engage stakeholders in evaluating and prioritizing AI-enabled improvement opportunities.
