Course Description

Data, digital systems, and AI now underpin nearly every aspect of higher education leadership. This course explores how executive oversight of these systems shapes institutional credibility, accountability, and resilience. Leaders will examine how privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance are managed as strategic and reputational risks, and how evidence is used to drive decision-making and public trust. Emphasis is placed on the leadership dimensions of evidence-informed practice—how to interpret, communicate, and act on data ethically and transparently across governance and regulatory contexts. Participants will strengthen their ability to lead cultures of evidence that balance compliance with curiosity, equity, and institutional learning.
