Course Description

In this course, learners will explore how leadership behaviors and team practices influence psychological safety and inclusion, while fostering environments where teams feel heard, valued, and supported. Focus is placed on everyday leader behaviors, team routines, and measurement practices that encourage trust, participation, and continuous learning. 

This course is part of the Next Move: Professional Growth Series within the Tier 2 - Lead category.

What You'll Learn

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: 

  • Explain the impact of psychological safety and inclusion on team performance and learning.  

  • Analyze leadership behaviors that enable or undermine psychological safety and inclusion. 

  • Implement and embed leader and team practices, routines, and norms that increase voice, participation, and trust while supporting reflection, accountability, and a growth mindset. 

  • Measure team-level psychological safety and inclusion indicators and act on findings.  

  • Respond constructively to feedback, disagreement, and mistakes to maintain trust and continuous improvement.
