Course Description

Build a practical understanding of financial information used in everyday workplace decisions. Learn to interpret key financial documents, budgets, forecasts, and financial key performance indicators (KPIs). Connect numbers to the impact of your actions and develop confidence in applying financial reasoning to support decisions, identify insights, and make clear, data-informed recommendations.

What You'll Learn

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: 

  • Identify insights and the financial health of an organization by understanding and analyzing financial statements, ratios, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Explain cost drivers, trade-offs, and how individual actions affect financial outcomes. 

  • Apply financial reasoning to common workplace scenarios. 

  • Use financial information to build business cases or make informed recommendations.
