Course Description
This advanced module emphasizes system-level quality strategies and performance improvement frameworks in contemporary organizations. Learners will examine Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean production systems, and Six Sigma’s DMAIC methodology. The course covers performance measurements using key quality metrics, including OEE, defect rates, and first-pass yield. Focus is placed on benchmarking, strategic quality planning, and integrating tools such as QFD, FMEA, and control plans to build robust quality systems that drive sustained operational excellence. The module also introduces foundational concepts in factorial Design of Experiments (DOE).Learning Outcomes
