Course Description

In this course, students will gain an understanding of various aspects of current topics relevant to the practice of project management. Sample topics include agile approaches to project management, managing virtual teams, environmental sustainability in project management and cross-cultural project management.

 

What You'll Learn

By the end of the course, the learner should be able to:

  1. Identify approaches to management of projects;
  2. Describe strategies for decision making within distributed teams;
  3. Use adaptive, emergent, iterative strategies in planning and prioritizing projects; and
  4. Mitigate risk and identified opportunities through agile team processes and risk-managed resolution strategies
