Course Description

A Technician is a trainee who has successfully completed the academic component of the course and received practical training from a licensed exterminator. A technician is indirectly supervised by a licensed land, water or structural exterminator based upon at least a once per week site visit. The technician has specific restrictions of duties.

This Core Exam is the academic course requirement needed to become a Technician through the Ontario Pesticide Training and Certification Program, University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus.

Online exams will be facilitated by Open Learning at the University of Guelph.  Please complete your registration if online exam delivery is preferred.

You must register and pay with OPT & C before you can sign up for your online exam.
